As the title states, we are off on our second trip in two years covering the western side of the US. This years trip includes the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Devils Tower, and the Black Hills of South Dakota. The trip is scheduled from July 13th-21st. I will taking the trip with my cousin Eric.
This trip will be very different from last years trip through Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah because we plan to camp each night. Eric has been reading to many magazines lately and thought it would be fun to camp this time around.
We are also riding in the heat of the summer and not in October. Last year we experienced a lot of rain, snow, flooding and very cold temperatures. Hopefully we can avoid most of that this trip. We're just about packed and ready to go. We'll probably look like a bunch of hobo's going down the road with the gear backed on the bikes, but at least we'll be visible!
I've created this blog to provide an update to those interested in our daily adventures. I plan to post comments, photo's and more about each day's experience. It should be an awesome trip.

You two are insane. I don't think I could camp at the same place for more than a few days much less for a week. Toward the end of the trip the tents will stay on the bike and you'll be sleeping on park benches and picnic tables. It really does seem like a great time and a great ride. Enjoy and invest in some gold bond powder.
